Harry Greiner of Near State Center to be Buried Tuesday

Colo--Jan. 1--Harry I. Greiner, 52, died at the Greiner home 2 miles east of Colo Saturday at 1:30 a. m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday with prayer at the home at 1:30, and the funeral at St. Paul's Lutheran church at State Center at 2 p. m., with burial at Hillside cemetery, following the services.

Death was due to an internal hemorrhage. Mr. Greiner had been apparently well and up an about his farm work on Friday but was taken ill in the evening and died within a few hours.

Mr. Greiner, long-time resident of that community, leaves his immediate family and wife, a daughter Dorothy, now Mrs. Fred Weuve, and a grandson, Roland Weuve, his mother, Mrs. Ignaaz Greiner and a brother, Gotthiel Greiner, both of State Center.

Born in LaSalle county, Illinois, October 2, 1887, he came to Iowa in 1907, and had lived in this community since that time. He was united in marriage to Hazel Schuler, of State Center on March 6, 1918. Three children were born to them, the only survivor being the daughter, Dorothy. Two died in infancy.
