Roy L. Boyce, Former Nevada Man, Is Dead

Roy L. Boyce, 64, former resident of Nevada, died Saturday at his home at Tumwater, Washington, according to a message received here by his son Robert Boyce. Particulars as to the death and funeral and burial arrangements are yet indefinite here.

Mr. Boyce with his wife* and their on Robert came to Nevada from West Union in 1918, when he took over the Deep Rock station, which was then the only station on the highway between Marshalltown and Bone. He had been with the Deep Rock people before at West Union, Sumner and Oelwein in Iowa and Spring Valley, Wash.

Mr. Boyce continued in the gasoline distribution business in Nevada until he left here two years ago last August for the west.

The first Mrs. Boyce* died here several years ago and he later married Mrs. Mertie Lyons Worsing and she, with the son Robert of Nevada, survive him.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The first Mrs. Boyce was Sarah Larrisa Ball. She and Roy Boyce were married 18 March 1896 in Fayette County, Iowa.
