Baby Died and Buried at Slater

Special to the Journal:
Slater, May 20==Born to Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Gaard, a girl, Friday, May 12th at Fenton. The baby passed away Saturday and was brought to Slater for burial Sunday, where brief services were held at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morton Nerness and at the Bethlehem cemetery. The services were in charge of its grandfather Rev. A. K. Gaard of Cylinder. Miss Margaret Fritz sang "There's A Friend for Little Children" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
