Last Rites For Mrs. Frank Kellison

Kitty Ray Hoadley was born March 6, 1876 in Serena, Illinois and died on May 31, 1954 at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 25 days. She was one of a family of two sisters and one brother born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoadley, all of whom preceded her in death.

When but 3 years of age she, with her family, moved by covered wagon to Allison, Iowa where she was reared to young girlhood, and became affiliated with the Methodist church and taught in that vicinity.

In 1896 she, with her parents, moved to Chesterville, Texas where she met and married Frank S. Kellison, formerly of Marian, Kansas November 18, 1903 at Eagle Lake, Texas. To this union three children were born.

In 1916 they moved to Elmer, Missouri where they lived for 10 years.

In 1926 they moved to Iowa where she spent the remaining years of her life in the Radcliffe and Zearing vicinity.

Preceding her in death was one son, Charles S. Kellison, who passed away January 3, 1949.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Frank S. Kellison of Zearing, one son, Lafie C. Kellison of Latimer, Iow, one daughter, Elizabeth C. Bailey of Zearing, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.

She has not only been a faithful wife and mother, but was ready and willing at all times to help in sickness or where ever needed. Every care was taken for her comfort during her brief illness when medical aid was of no further help.
