Mrs. Cummings Formerly of Maxwell Is Dead In Nebraska

Special to the Journal:
Maxwell, March 25--Mrs. Nancy Cummings, 80, former resident of this community, died at a hospital at Ainsworth, Neb., late Friday, according to word reaching relatives here.

The body is being brought back to Maxwell for funeral and burial. While definite arrangements have not been announced, it is probable that the funeral will be held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Maxwell and burial will be in the Maxwell cemetery by the side of her husband who died nine years ago.

A son Frank Cummings and a daughter, Bess Davis live at Ainsworth. Besides these two she laves son Glen and Clarence Cummings of Maxwell and the daughters Mrs. Gladys Cockerell of Des Moines and Mrs. Eunice Stratton of Collins.

She also laves 18 grandchildren.

She was well known in the Maxwell community where she lived for years.
