Theo. C. Carpenter Died Friday At Home in Randall

Story City, Dec. 27--Theodore C. Carpenter, 84, died at his home in Randall Dec. 26 following a three week's illness.

Mr. Carpenter was born June 1, 1863 in Roland. For many years he lived on a farm which he purchased northeast of Story City, retiring four years ago and moving into Randall. He had been a resident of the Story City-Roland community practically all his life.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Elim Lutheran church in Randall with Rev. A. J. Bringle officiating. Burial will be in the Roland cemetery.

Mr. Carpenter is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. M. H. Henryson, Arthur Carpenter and Gaylord Carpenter of Story City, Willie Carpenter of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Arthur Olson of Inglewood, Calif., Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Tacoma, Wash., and Jeffrey Carpenter of Jewell.
