Mrs. Mae Chitty Died at Home of Daughter Here

Mrs. Mae Chitty, 48, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Fred Martin, 402 Q avenue in Nevada, Sunday evening at 6:30, after an illness of some months.

The funeral services will be conducted at Central Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, with Rev. J. M. Kennedy in charge an burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mrs. Chitty who has lived in or near Nevada the greater part of her life, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Allen, for some years prominent residents of Milford township and Nevada.

She leaves her daughter Margaret now Mrs. Fred Martin at whose home in Nevada she died, the younger daughter, Phyllis a senior in Ames high school, and son Kenneth of Nevada.

Beside these she leaves her sister Mrs. Sadie Sowers of Ames and brothers Frank Allen of Milford township and George Allen of Onawa.
