Mrs. Melvina C. Fetterhoff, age 78, a pioneer woman of this locality, died Saturday evening at 8:30, at her home on Third street and avenue K. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 from the M. E. church.

Mrs. White, her granddaughter, and two children of Colo had been spending the day with her. Mrs. White and one child and her two aunts, Misses Mae and Pearl Fetterhoff, had gone up town to shop, leaving the nine months old baby with her grandmother.

On arriving home they found grandma lying on the floor with the baby by her side.

The family doctor was called an an examination showed she had been dead at least a half hour, evidently becoming a victim of heart failure.

She leaves to mourn her death one son, and three daughter, B. A. Fetterhoff, W. Lincoln Ave., Misses Mae and Pearle Fetterhoff, Nevada, and Mrs. C. L. Brown of Scarville, in Winnebago county, and numerous grandchildren, besides a host of friends.
