NEVADA LOCALS

The little seventeen month old baby, Dale of Mr. and Mrs. Burnice Graves, of Ames, met with a sad death, Saturday morning about 10:30. The youngster was playing about the yard, when he fell into a water tank and was drowned. Everything was done to save the child's life, but owing to the fact that he had just recovered from a siege of whooping cough, which left him in a weakened condition, he was unable to respond to treatments given to him. Funeral services were held from the home of his grandmother Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Ames cemetery.
