OBITUARY

Harley D. Dearth son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dearth died a the home of his parents on Thursday, Jan. 22nd near Gilbert. The deceased had been in poor health for several years on Friday before his death was taken sick and very rapidly grew worse until the end came. He was born in Buena Vista county, Iowa, May 20th 1899. The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon, only a committal service was read by Rev. Wissler of Gilbert on account of flu cases in the community*. Interment was made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Dearth have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
