Carl Hill died, at age 79, rites on Tues.

Carl Henry Hill, 79, Maxwell, died of an apparent hear attack at his rural Maxwell home on December 26.

He was born Dec. 30, 1891 in Farrar, Iowa. Mr. Hill farmed in the Maxwell area for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Minker Hill, his children, Carl H. Jr. of Maxwell, Mrs. Barbara Darlene Marshall of Maxwell, and Mrs. Betty Jean Elliott of Big Rock, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. D. I. Price of Columbia, Mo., and two brothers Albert and Frank, of the community.

Services will be at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Dale Ellsworth will officiate. Music will be by Mrs. Elaine Haley of Nevada. Bearers will include Dale Pyle, Robert Kirk, C. E. Pierce, Emmett Scott, Clarence Godby and Elmer Haley.

Burial will be in the Iowa Center Cemetery.
