MRS. JOHNSON DIED OF PNEUMONIA
WELL KNOWN ROLAND WOMAN WILL BE BURIED SATURDAY

Roland, April 30--Mrs. Rebecca Johnson, 71, died at her home here last evening of pneumonia, which developed from injuries sustained when she was knocked down by a motor car, when crossing the streets of Roland the evening of Saturday, April 18.Pneumonia developed last Saturday and since that time her condition had been realized to be very serious.
The funeral services will be held Saturday with her pastor Rev. Holen in charge. There will be short services at the home at 1:30, after which the funeral will be held at Salem church at 2:00 and interment will be in the Roland cemetery by the side of her husband, who died many years ago.
Mrs. Johnson, whose maiden name was Rebecca Nelson, daughter of the pioneers, Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson of west of Roland, had lived in or near Roland all of her life.
She leaves three sons, Ed of Geneva, Montana, J. O. of Roland, and Herman of Marshalltown and three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Thompson of McCallsburg, Mrs. Lawrence Jackson of Hampton and Mrs. Nelle Seymour of Roland.
There are also two brothers, Osmund Nelson of Gratton, N. D. and Nels J. Nelson of Story City.
