AGED WOMAN DEAD IN NEBRASKA
MRS. A. J. DEVINNEY PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF SON AT BLAIR
Mrs. A. J. Devinney, 86, mother of the late Mrs. P. E. Jensen, died at the home of a son, Joseph Devinney, at Blair, Nebr., this morning according to word received by Mr. Jensen.
Mrs. Devinney had made her home with her daughter in Nevada for fourteen years, but a few months previous to the death of Mrs. Jensen, which occurred on March 26, the daughter accompanied her mother to Blair, and she had since been at the home of her son.
Returning home Mrs. Jensen shortly afterwards submitted to an operation and later died. The mother was not advised of the condition of the daughter, of the operation nor of her death at the time. Later she seemed to be stronger and she was advised of the death of Mrs. Jensen.
The funeral of Mrs. Devinney will be held at Blair, possibly on Sunday, although definite word has not been received yet.
Many Nevada people knew Mrs. Devinney, having become acquainted with her during her long residence in the Jensen home and they have very kindly memories of the aged woman.
