Woman Died Today at County Infirmary

Mrs. Eliza Reed, 83, died at the Story county infirmary, at 8:00 from pneumonia brought on by complications incident to old age. The body was taken to the Adams Funeral home at Ames for the funeral service and burial will probably be at Ames.

Mrs. Reed, who was brought to the county home from the state hospital for the insane at Clarinda, as an incurable, March 13, 1913, was from Ames but there is little available history of either herself or her family.

She had some property and the courts had named Parley Sheldon of Ames as her guardian many years ago.

She is a native of Vermont but had lived in Iowa for many years.
