Mr. Young with his family came to Nevada about 36 years ago and this had since been his home.

George Young was an industrious man, honest and upright in his dealings with mankind and had many friends.

He became a member of the Baptist church while living at Hopkins, Mo., in 1890 and has since been a member of that denomination.
