Funeral Service for Imsland Child

McCallsburg, July 16--The funeral of little Wilma Joan Imsland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Imsland was held Thursday afternoon with a short service at the home followed by service at the Bergens Lutheran church at Roland.The pall bearers were Lois Twedt, Ione Osheim, Charlotte Johnson and Marjorie Osmundson, all dressed in white.
Burial was made in the Roland cemetery.
Wilma Joan Imsland was born, Feb. 15, 1931 and passed away at her home Monday, July 11, 1932 after an illness of three weeks with cerebral menengitis. All that medical aid and loving hands could do for her was done, but to no avail, she slipped away Monday afternoon about four o'clock.
Besides the parents, she is survived by a brother Cyrus and a host of relatives.
Among the relatives present at the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mr. John Imsland and two daughter, Mr. and Mrs. H B. Knudtson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Swen Imsland and son and Ole Imsland all of Alden and Eric Christian of Jewell, Mrs. Clara Severson and mother Mrs. Holland of Jewell.
Mr. and Mrs. Imsland are extended the sympathy of the community in their sorrow.
