Services Friday for Magne Idse, 80

STORY CITY - Magne Idse, 80, of Story City died Wednesday morning at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

Funeral services for Ids will be held Friday, March 18, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Petri Lutheran church in Story City, with pastor Rolfe Johnstad officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Idse was born June 17, 1896 to parents Adolph and Bertha Idse. In 1917 he was married to Stella Hanson.

Idse owned and operated a jewelry business in Story City for several years.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law Agnes Hanson and Myrtle Hanson of Story City, and Mary Hanson of Des Moines. Also surviving are one aunt, two nieces and one nephew.

Idse was preceded in death by hi parents and his wife in 1976.
