Requiem High Mass for Jim Reynolds
Special to the Journal.
Colo, Dec. 20--Funeral services for James Reynolds, whose sudden death at his home here was a great shock to the community were held from St. Mary's Catholic church. Solemn requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Gorman, pastor, assisted by Father Buzynski of State Center and Father Frein of St. Anthony sang the requiem.James Reynolds was born on a farm a mile and half south of Colo, December 6, 1867 and died at Colo, Dec. 11, 1833 [should be 1933.] He leaves two brothers and three sister to mourn his untimely death. The sisters are Anna who lived with him, Edward, Mrs. Mary Ernst and Mrs. Eva Haas of Chicago an Frank of Portland, Oregon.
Jim Reynolds was a man of strong personality, honest, of a kindly nature and a good neighbor, quiet disposition and had many true friends. He was laid to rest in the family lot in St. James cemetery. May he rest in peace.
