Former Story County Resident Is Buried

Funeral service for Harry Jones, 74, Sacramento, Calif. were held this afternoon, Monday, August 23 at 1:30 at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Jones, who was retired, was born in 1891 in Iowa Center and was a lifetime Story County resident.

Survivors are three sons, Gerald, Cecil and Robert, all of Ames; one daughter, Dorothy of Los Angeles; a brother Richard of Sacramento, Calif. and a sister, Mrs. Grace Erenrich [should be Ehrenreich] of Chicago. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

Rev. Hector Thompson of Pleasant Grove Church was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Cambridge Cemetery.
