John V. Harding, former resident of Nevada, died at his home in Denison early Monday, according to word received by his niece Mrs. George Post of 1014 First street.

The body will arrive here Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and there will be short services at the grave in the Nevada cemetery. Interment will be by the side of the wife who died at Denison and was interred here in July, 1929.

Mr. Harding lived in Colo as a young man and has three brothers living there at this time, the aged mother died a few months ago.

He worked in the electric light plant in Nevada for a number of years and here he married Miss Regan. The family left here in 1908 when Mr. Harding took charge of the municipal electric plant at State Center. He was there for several years, going from there to New London. Later he became manager of the municipal plant at Denison and had been successful in its operation for several years.

He leaves one son Robert G. Harding of Amarillo, Texas, a daughter Mrs. Clay Wier of Mount Pleasant and another Mrs. John Nau of Denison, who had kept up the home for the father following the death of the wife and mother. He also leaves the three brothers, Harry, Will and Thomas Harding of Colo.
