Injured Woodward Boy Died Sunday

Woodward, Ia., Dec. 2--INS--A simple funeral service was being arranged today for an eight-year-old boy, Donald Wright, who for five weeks momentarily awaited death that was almost certain to come.

The boy died at Des Moines Sunday after 35 days of unconsciousness following an accident in which we was struck by a car at Woodward while riding his bicycle.

Two operations were performed to remove blood clots under his skull, but physicians despaired of the boy's life. His parents, Dr. and Mrs. D. R. Wright, had visited him almost daily, sometimes with Donald's older brother and sister, Darrel and Joanne.
