'BUD' HINECKER BURIED AT ZEARING

WAS ONCE WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF THAT LOCALITY DIED AT MARSHALLTOWN

Zearing, Sept. 24--The body of A. J. "Bud" Hinecker, 76, who died at Marshalltown Saturday afternoon, was laid to rest in the Zearing cemetery this afternoon, following funeral services at Marshalltown.

Mr. Hinecker who lived for a number of years in this community, had been a resident of Marshalltown for 28 years, the most of the time engaged in the real estate business.

Mr. Hinecker was born March apoplexy at his office Saturday and did not regain consciousness. He was removed at once to the Deaconess hospital.

Mr. Hinecker was born March 19, 1869, in Marion county, Indiana, a son of George and Katherine Hinecker. At the age of 14 years he came to Iowa with his parents, who settled in the Minerva neighborhood. Later the family moved to Collins and after a few years in the neighborhood, Mr. Hinecker moved to Zearing, where he was married to Mrs. Clara E. Dakins* in 1892.

Mr. and Mrs. Hinecker were the parents of three children, Roy, who died in infancy; Bertha, who died at the age of 4, and Mrs. Gladys Holland, a resident of Marshalltown, who survives her father. Besides the widow and daughter, Mr. Hinecker is survived by three brothers, Fred Hinecker, Marshalltown; Cassius Hinecker, Chicago and Lafe Hinecker, Zearing; two sisters, Mrs. John Thornblace and Mrs. H. L. Robertson, both of Marshalltown; two step-sons, Manly E. Dakins, Zearing and Howard Dakins, Britton, S. D. and two grandchildren, Buddy and Donna Jean Holland.

* SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Clara Ellen Gressly married (1) Solomon W. Dakins on 17 July 1883 in Colo, Story County, Iowa. She married (2) Ananias J. Hinecker on 22 August 1892 in Zearing, Story County, Iowa.
