"OBITUARY – Francis Marion Sutton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sutton, was born in Williams county, Ohio, April 6, 1899, and died at the Mercy hospital, Des Moines, on Wednesday, March 8, 1914, at the age of fourteen years, eleven months and twelve days. When Francis was one year old his parents moved to Iowa and on February 8, 1903, his mother died at Maxwell. He leaves his father and two brothers and many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral service was held Friday morning, March 20th at 10:00 o’clock at the Church of Christ, Maxwell, Iowa, conducted by Dr. E. J. Nicerson, minister of the church. The pall bearers were taken from his class in the Bible school. Music was furnished by Mesdames O. P. Sabo, A. C. Enfiedld, F. W. McClintock, Dr. Taylor and W. F. Richardson, with Miss Bessie Laselle at the piano. Interment was made in the Maxwell cemetery.
