CAMBRIDGE MAN KILLED BY TRAIN

TRAGEDY STRIKES SESKER HOME TWICE WITHIN FEW MONTHS

Frank Sesker, 31, was killed when struck by an eastbound Milwaukee freight, while he was walking along the tracks near Cambridge at an early hour this morning.

Sesker and Lawrence Darby who stays at the Sesker place had been in town during the evening and had once started home. Before they reached the Sesker place their motor car became stuck and Sesker leaving his companion cut across over the railway tracks and started back for town, when he was struck by the east bound freight at 1:15 a. m.

His body was not badly mangled and was picked up and brought into town by the train crew.

Sheriff Hattery was notified, as was Coroner Mills, but it was not thought necessary to hold a formal inquest and the body was taken to the Cooper mortuary at Maxell to the prepared for burial.

The unfortunate man was a son of Lars Sesker, well known farmer of the west of Cambridge, was single and had worked at home the most of the time.

A younger brother Eldon Sesker suicided on the night of July 4 last, near the home of his sweetheart and before the eyes of Town Marshal Sam Brown of Cambridge, who had been called to the place.

This is the second tragedy to visit the Sesker home during the past few months.
