MRS. GILMORE DIED EARLY SUNDAY

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HERE THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

Mrs. Laura Gilmore, widow of the late William J. Gilmore, died at the state hospital at Mt. Pleasant Sunday morning at 5:30.

The body was brought to Nevada last evening and the funeral will be held at the Morfoot funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, after which the body will be taken to Rochelle, Ill., for interment by the side of her mother, Mary M. Martin DeCamp, wife of A. F. DeCamp.

The husband, W. J. Gilmore, died Sunday, April 29, and was interred in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery.

Mrs. Gilmore had been in impaired health for some time and was at the time of the death of the husband confined to the state hospital.

She had been a resident of Story county for a great many years, living with her father, the late A. F. DeCamp, on a farm in Milford township previous to her marriage to Mr. Gilmore about 24 years ago.

While Mrs. Gilmore leaves no immediate relatives so far as is known here, a number of the step-children will be here for the funeral. Dr. Earl Gilmore of Atcheson, Kansas, arrived last night and is looking after arrangements for the funeral and interment. Another is here and at least two of the daughters of the late Mr. Gilmore are expected to be here.
