Funeral Services at Morrell Home

Colo, March 14--Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Mrs. Emma Braker at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Morrell. The funeral was attended by a large group of relatives and friends of the deceased.Interment was in the Colo cemetery by the side of her husband, the late John Braker, who died a number of years ago.
Emma Eichner was born in Holstein, Germany in the year 1856 and came to America with her parents when she was 6 years old. The family located in Davenport. There she grew to womanhood and was married in 1877 to John Braker to whom were born two daughters, Clara Morrell and Sophia Morrell both of Colo.
About -- years ago they moved to Colo where she had lived since with the exception of about eight years spent in California.
About two years ago she -------- to her home in Colo. --- ---------- -- about a week she passed away at the home of her daughter with whom she was staying this winter.
Death occurred at 6:-0 Sunday morning, March 11, 1934 at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 11 days.
She was one of a family of 15 children all of whom have passed on before excepting one sister who lives in Walnut, Iowa. Besides the sister, she leaves to mourn her loss two daughter, Mrs. Clara Morrell and Mrs. Sophia Morrell and one grandson, Roy Morrell, all of Colo besides numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
