Mrs. W. B. McDonald Called by Death

Friends have learned of the death at the family home near Union of Mrs. W. B. McDonald, who passed away February 16, at the age of 30 years.

Ethel Marie Norman was born February 3, 1904 on a farm in the Liberty neighborhood in Hardin county and passed away February 16, 1931 at the age of 30 years and 13 days.

Her early life was spent with her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Norman in the Liberty and Chester neighborhoods.

She attended school at New Providence and Liberty and was graduated in 1922 from the latter. She was converted and joined the Friends church at Chester when about 12 years of age.

On May 26, 1924 she was united in marriage to Wilbur B. McDonald. To this union was born five children, Norman Lewis 8, Wayne Eldon 6, Erma Lucille 4, Lloyd Thomas 2, and Keith Wm. 5 months.

They lived on farms near Colo and Collins until march 1933 when they moved back to the Liberty community. Beside her husband, children and parents she leaves to mourn her loss two brothers and two sisters, Raymond Norman of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Otha Hensley, Clemons, Mark Norman and Miss Hazel Norman at home her grandfather Lewis Norman, East Bend, N. C., as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The family has lost a loving, cheerful wife and mother in the passing of Ethel McDonald.
