Last Rites Held For Mrs. J. O. Price

Funeral services for Mrs. John Oliver Price, 81, who died at the Sones Nursing Home in Des Moines on July 29, were held from the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell on Monday with Rev. Stanley Farmer in charge of services.

Mrs. Jean Mohler sang two solos, "Higher Ground," and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Madeline Summitt.

The beautiful floral tributes were in charge of Mrs. Ruby Griffith and Mrs. Lillian Huser. A memorial fund was also established for mission. Casket bearers were Homer Griffith, George Huser, Glen Larkin, Ora Groseclose, Carol Lee and Gayle Lee. Interment was in the Center Grove Cemetery.

Obituary

Letitia Jane Sebree was born John and Sarah Sebree, October 19, 1873, at Greentop, Mo. She was the ninth of 11 children.

She married to John Oliver Price on October 26, 1898 and to this union were born five children: William Oliver, who lives at home, Claribelle Carlson, Boone, Frank C., Hawthorne, Fla., Bessie M. Adams, Polk City and Morris J., who died in infancy.

They moved to their farm east of Cambridge over 20 years ago. She became a member of the Greentop Methodist church in her early youth and later moved her membership to the Sheldahl Methodist church where she remained a member until her death.

She is survived by her husband, a brother Charles of Bevier, Mo., and four children, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
