MRS. ELLA BARNARD

Mrs. Ella May Barnard, 92, of Zearing died Friday at the Colonial Manor in Zearing. She had been in failing health for several years.

Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the United Methodist Church in Zearing with Rev. Albert Best officiating. Burial will be in the Zearing Cemetery.

She was born April 23, 1881 at Kelley and had been a lifetime resident of Story County except for two years when she lived in Des Moines. She taught in the rural schools for several years before marrying Asa Barnard January 1, 1907.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Reischauer of Zearing, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1963.

The body is at the Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing where friends may call from Sunday noon until time of services.
