THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, May 24, 1934, page 5. "Mrs. Mary Salmon received word Thursday evening of the death of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nellie Salmon, who died at her home in Des Moines from heart trouble. Mrs. Salmon was the widow of the late Harry W. Salmon, who died seven months ago. Relatives who attended the funeral, held in Des Moines Saturday, were Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gibson, Mrs. Mary Salmon, Mrs. J. H. Flora, Mrs. T. L. Conner and son, Ralph."
