THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, April 27, 1922, page 1, column 2. "Word was received in Maxwell, Wednesday, of the death of D. M. Ruth, a former resident and post master at this place, which occurred at Marshalltown, Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday and burial will take place at Rhodes, where the family made their home for many years after leaving Maxwell."
