WAYNE H. HEINTZ
Services will be held Monday for a Cambridge resident who died Friday morning at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Wayne H. Heintz, 46, passed away in the Des Moines hospital where he had been a patient for practically 7 years after suffering an accident on April 12, 1966 in Cambridge.
Born September 11, 1927 in Nevada to the parents of J. H. and Elsie Heintz, Wayne Heintz had been resident of Story County his entire lifetime. On February 1, 1947 he married Juanita Rosburg in Maxwell. He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Cambridge and a former mayor and fire chief of that community. He had worked as an oil jobber most of his life.
Wayne H. Heintz is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Heintz of Nevada, two sons, Randy of Cambridge and Duane of Washington, D.C., one daughter, Mrs. Barb Dubberke of Ames, five brothers, Marion of Clear Lake, Don of Cambridge and Larry, Dean and Max all of Nevada, four sisters, Mrs. Marge Baum of Waukee, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Heggen of Prairie City, Mrs. Nancy Vincent and Miss Betty Heintz, both of Nevada, three grandchildren, and his grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth LaBorde of Perry.
He was preceded in death by twin sisters.
Services will be held from the Cambridge Nazareth Lutheran Church Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harvey Kroepel officiating. Burial will be in the Cambridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until Monday morning.
