NEWSPAPER SOURCE UNKNOWN (possibly THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE), February 1966. "EARL C. ROBERTSON. - Earl Clifford Robertson was born at St. ____ ____ on March 23, 1895 and departed from us on February 3, 1966. He was the son of Morris and Levina Robertson. He moved with his parents to Maxwell when he was twelve and lived in this community from that time, farming for many years and later moving to town in retirement. He was married to Vera Byers on February 9, 1916. To this union were born three sons. Forest and Verl of Maxwell, and Marvin of Washington, D. C. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and Glen. Surviving to mourn his passing are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Scott of Des Moines; a brother, Ray of Maxwell; his sons; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 6, at 2 p. m., in the Maxwell Christian Church with Rev. Ron Taylor officiating. Don Myers, accompanied by Carol Myers at the organ sang, "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "How Great Thou Art." The beautiful floral tributes were in charge of nieces, Mrs. Lois Pyle and Mrs. Aileen Allen. The casket bearers were nephews, namely, Walter Phillips, Bill Pritchard, Dale Pyle, Lowell Robertson, Morris Robertson and Raymond Robertson. Interment was in the Peoria Cemetery."
