THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, October 3, 1963, page 1, column 2. "EARL W. PINCK. - Earl W. Pinck, former Maxwell boy died in the Des Moines Methodist Hospital, Thursday, Sept. 26, 1963 at 10:20 p. m. Mr. Pinck died of a kidney ailment. Earl was the son of Frank and Effie Pinck. He was born January 22, 1916, being 47 years of age at the time of his death. He was married to Jeanette Hass of Rhodes, Iowa, November 16, 1958 at the Rhodes Methodist Church. He and his wife have lived in Des Moines since their marriage. He graduated form the Nevada High School. Was baptized when 17 years of age in the Christian Church. Earl Pinck had worked for many years as an accountant for the Kanudson Construction Co. of Des Moines. Funeral services were held from the Hamilton Funeral Home, 9th St., Des Moines, at 12 o'clock noon, Saturday, Sept. 28, 1963. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Jeanette, his mother, Mrs. Effie Whitaker, his sister, Mrs. Ruth Graham, niece, Patty Graham, Stepfather, Claude Whitaker, Grandfather, J. W. Bloomfield of Nevada and many more relatives and friends. His father, Frank Pinck, passed away 41 years ago. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Collins."
