Mrs. B. D. Fickess Dies in Hospital Here Thurs. Morning

Mrs. B. D. Fickess, 64, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the Story County Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Fickess had been ill for more than a year. She was a patient in a Denver hospital for a time and then in Des Moines before being returned home several weeks ago.

A native of New Sharon, Ia., she was born September 2, 1901.

Survivors include her husband, B.D. Fickess, Story County Hospital Administrator; one son, B. DeWayne Fickess of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Eytcheson, Des Moines, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She was the last of her family.

The body is at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada where services are pending.
