THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, December 5, 1901, page 1, column 2. "DELAYED. - Mamie Peterson, the three year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Peterson, died suddenly last Sunday evening after but a very short illness. She was first attacked by cramps, but had seemingly recovered and was thought to be about out of danger when she suddenly weakened and died before those in attendance were aware that she was even seriously ill. The funeral was held Wednesday at 10 o'clock a. m. from the Congregational church. Her remains were interred in the Sheldahl cemetery."
