THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, May 4, 1899, page 1column 2. "Dr. Patberg started for Chicago, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday a telegram came telling of the death of his sister at her home in Dallas, Illinois. He could not at that time be located, so was not apprised of the sad news."
