DEATHS

SADIE ELIZABETH SYDNES

Sadie Elizabeth Sydnes was born April 17, 1914 to Elmer and Martha Emerson at Cambridge, Iowa. She died April 12, 1966 at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames after an illness of seven months.

On August 8, 1938 she was united in marriage to Norris Sydnes. She lived all of her life in the Cambridge, Huxley and Ames area. She had been employed at Freeman Hall, Iowa State University since July, 1955.

She is survived by her husband, Norris; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Johnson of Polk City, a granddaughter, Jor Jan, 4 years and a grandson Jon Jay, 2 years, also of Polk City.

Services were held Friday, April 15, for Sadie Elizabeth Sydnes at the Riis Funeral Home in Slater.

The Rev. O. M. Severseike of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames officiated.

Pallbearers were Tolfred Sesker, Kahl Sesker, Stanley Sydnes, Gene Sydnes, Robert Stowe and John Stowe.

Burial was in the Cambridge Cemetery.
