AREA DEATHS

FLORENCE WIKLE

Florence Wikle, 85, died at the Oak Park Manor Thursday. She had lived at the Manor for the past three years.

Born Oct. 10, 1887, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Patrick and Kathryn Byrnes. She married Harry Wikle on June 25, 1915, in Marshalltown and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Nelle Coxworth of Nevada and Sue Williams of Santa Barbara, Calif., along with several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held from St. Patrick's Catholic Church Saturday at 11:30 a.m., with Father Franz Lohberg officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.

Rosary will be recited Friday (tonight) at 8:15 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home.
