THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, July 8, 1971, page 1, column 6. “ATTEND FUNERAL. – Mr. And Mrs. Tolferd Sesker attended funeral services for the latter’s nephew, Larry Nielsen, 23, of Webster City, at the United Methodist Church in Marble Rock on Monday. Larry drowned at a swimming beach in Briggs Wood Park near Webster City at noon the previous Thursday. He is survived by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Willard Nielsen of Marble Rock; a sister, Lorrie Ann at home and a brother, Dennis in the Air Force. Military services and burial was at the cemetery in Iowa Falls, where the Nielsen family formerly lived. Larry had recently returned from four years in the Army.”
