Thomas Bloomfield Died In Arizona; Burial In Iowa Center Cemetery

MAXWELL:-Thomas R. Bloomfield, aged 57, died Wednesday in Phoenix, Arizona after a short illness. The deceased with his wife had been residents of Phoenix for the past two years, ever since his retirement from the Milwaukee railroad.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Maxwell Christian Church with Rev. R------ Sims officiating. Interment will be in the Iowa Center cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Cooper Funeral Home until time for service.

The deceased is survived by his mother, his wife, Blanche, 2 sons, Paul of Phoenix and James of Maxwell; 2 daughters; Mrs. Jean Beal of Maxwell and Mrs. Patricia Smith of Des Moines; 9 grandchildren; 1 sister, Bessie Rankin of Maxwell and 4 brothers, Harry and Charles of Iowa Center, George of Collins and Mose Baker of Iowa Center.
