DEATHS

Heather Michelle Thompson

Funeral services for Heather Michelle Thompson, one year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Thompson, was held at the Palestine Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6. Pastor Ernest T. Thompson based his meditation on II Kings 4:26.

Omar Brendeland and Mrs. Arlin Sheldahl sang "Children of the Heavenly Father" accompanied by Mrs. Noel Larson on the organ. The congregation sang "Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us."

Burial was in Palestine Cemetery.

Sunday evening a prayer service was held at the Riis Funeral Home in Slater with Pastor Otis Seversike of Ames in charge.

Heather Michelle was born Oct. 28, 1971 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She spent most of the year at Blank Memorial Hospital where she died on Saturday evening, Nov. 4.

She is survived by her parents, Roger and Denise Thompson; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson of Boone and Mr. and Mrs. Elman Sheldahl; great grandparents, Mrs. Edwin Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sheldahl, and other relatives.
