THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, July 3, 1958, page 1, column 5. "OBITUARY - Mrs. Edith Laughery Mingle Passes Away. - Mrs. Edith Mingle, passed away June 19, 1958. A native of Peoria Iowa, she had been a resident of Pasadena, Calif., 38 years and was a member of the Central Christian Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Edith Huggins and Mrs. Marjory Cleveland, both of Pasadena, a granddaughter, Mrs. Nancy Freeman, of Pasadena; a grandson, Lt. Kenneth Cleveland Jr., of Fort Bragg, N. Carolina; 3 great grandchildren, Molly and Wendy Munger and Cary Cleveland; also a sister, Mrs. Margaret Wells, of Perry, Iowa. Services were held Saturday, June 21, 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Turner and Stevens Co., 95 N Marengo Ave, Dr. Wesley P. Ford officiating. Private entombment Mountain View Mausoleum."
