DEATHS
Hazel Maywald
Funeral services for Hazel Fern Maywald, 71, who died on Nov. 3, 1971 at her home in Cambridge, was held from the Faith Bible Church in Cambridge on Friday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Bauder officiating.
Music was furnished by Barbara Stone and Joy Baggerly.
Mrs. La Vona Cairns and Mrs. Frank Castor had charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were John Scott, Duane Cook, Larry Martin, Robert Nassen and Raymond Robertson and Marion Hennick.
Burial was in the Cambridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Maywald was born on a farm south of Cambridge to Jasper and Cora Cook. She was a life long resident of this area and taught many years in the Ballard School.
Survivors are her husband Herman R. Maywald; two daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Greenwalt of Westport, Conn. and Mrs. Joyce Rice of Des Moines; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ava Groseclose and Mrs. Carmen Martin, both of Cambridge, Mrs. Opal Scott of Maxwell and Mrs. Erma Nassen of Greenfield, and one brother, Lester Cook of Cambridge.
