THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 10, 1901, page 1. "COLLINS - Sherman McCord's baby died last Saturday at 1 p.m. The funeral was held at Iowa Center, Sunday at 3:00 p. m., conducted by Rev. Stevenson, of the U. B. church."
THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 10, 1901, page 1, "IOWA CENTER - The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Sherm McCord died on Saturday and was buried Sunday. Mr. Stevenson, of Collins, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Urbino of this place. The little one was laid to rest in the Woodlawn cemetery."
