THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, December 5, 1929, page 1, column 2. "Funeral services were held at Collins Friday for Chris Harrington, 72, who died Monday night at his home at Janesville, Iowa. Mr. Harrington had been suffering from hardening of the arteries. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Harrington lived in Story county for many years, living at Nevada, Collins and on a farm between Collins and Colo. Besides his wife, five sons survive. They are Charles, of Owatonna, Minn.' Jesse, of Mason City' Will, of Colo; Claude, of Zearing, and George, of Mountain Lake, Minn."
