LAWRENCE HENNICK

MAXWELL -- Funeral services for Lawrence Hennick were held at the Christian Church in Maxwell, March 27, 1958 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Randall Sims officiating.

Don Myers sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Laura Pearson. The floral offerings were cared for by Gladys Wood and Leota Scott.

Casket bearers were Fred Vasey, John Morgan, Ira Link, Jerry Mishler, Marion Hennick and Larry Dolph. Interment was in the Maxwell cemetery with military services by the American Legion Post 249.

Life Sketch

Lawrence Arthur Hennick, aviation machinist mate, Jet Air Man, son of Ray and Nadine Hennick was born in Collins, Iowa August 1, 1938. He had lived in Collins and Maxwell most of his life except for the time spent in Naval training.

He entered the service February 21, 1956 taking basic training at the Great Lakes Naval Station. He was stationed at Beeville, Texas where he was injured in an automobile accident. Approximately ten month later on March 21, 1958 he died at the Naval Hospital.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Ann.

Survivors are his parents, two brothers Richard and Carroll; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Lippert, and Mrs. Dean Bunning, all of Maxwell, two grandfathers and a grandmother, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Longcor and Irve Hennick.
