DEATHS

Mrs. Art Yttrevold

Funeral services for Mrs. Art Yttrevold were held at the Bethlehem Church in Slater on Tuesday, June 24 at 2 p.m. Mrs. Yttrevold, who was born Oct. 31, 1897 in Lisbon, Ill., died June 21 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines after a lengthy period of illness.

Rev. W. A. Adix officiated at the services using as his sermon theme, "At Rest With Jesus," based on Heb. 4:9. Mrs. Oliver Newman served as organist, accompanying the soloists, Nilus Ihle who sang "How Great Thou Art" and Mrs. Ole Thorsness sang a Norwegian favorite hymn.

Nephews of Mrs. Yttrevold served as pallbearers, Herbert Storing, Clyde Chelsvig, Ronald Chelsvig, John Berhow, Marty Yttrevold and David Kinker.

Interment was in Bethlehem Cemetery at Slater.

Surviving are her husband, Art of Slater, her daughter, Betsy, and four grandchildren Dicky, Danny, LeAnn and Darrin Benshoof of Des Moines; one brother, four sisters and many other relatives and friends.

Relatives from a distance attending the services were her sisters, Mrs. Herman Hegberg of Irving, Texas and Mrs. James Storing of Hamilton, N. Y., Herbert Storing and Susan of Chicago; Mr. Yttrevold's brothers, Martin and family and Eddie of Albert Lea, Minn.; Mrs. Gordie Richardson of Minnapolis and Mrs. Orven Walker of Kenyon, Minn. Others came from Logan, Garner, Roland, Ames, Des Moines and Madrid.
