MRS. PALMER LOGAN

STORY CITY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Palmer Logan were held Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 2:00 p. m. in the Immanuel Lutheran church, Story City, with the Rev. Harold T. Masted officiating.

Burial was in the cemetery at Roland. Pallbearers were John Christian, Julius Christian, Cyrus Christian, Cecil Tesdall, Roy Prescott and Irving Thompson.

Mrs. Logan died at her home in Story City at 8:30 a. m. Monday, Nov. 4 at the age of 63 years.

Life Sketch

She was born at Roland Aug. 7, 1894, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Thompson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Bergen Lutheran church in Roland by the Rev. G. Smedal.

On Jan. 6, 1915 she was united in marriage to Palmer Logan, also of Roland spending most of their married life on a farm near Roland before moving to Story City.

Surviving besides her husband are four children, two sons and two daughters, Richard of Story City and Carroll Logan of Nevada, Mrs. (Deloris) William Stephenson of Ames and Mrs. Pauline (Reuben) Best of Norfolk, Neb. Also two brothers survive, Ted Thompson and Silas Thompson of Nevada; and two sisters Mrs. Millie Prescott of Nevada and Mrs. A. L. Harvey of Marshalltown.

Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Clarence Thompson of Roland; and four brother who died died in infancy.
