Final Services Tuesday For Charles A. Bond

NEVADA -- Funeral services will be held for Charles A. Bond, 87, Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral home with the Rev. Donald Gruber of the Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Masonic services will be held at the graveside. Burial will be made in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Bond died Sunday morning at 12:30 a.m. at his home. He had been ill over a period of years. Cause of death was a heart attack.

Born in Iowa Falls, he was a longtime resident of Story County and had farmed here until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clara in 1940, an infant son, James, and one great grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Cleo A. Bond, Nevada; Frank L. Bond, Three Rivers Falls, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Hattie B. Fetterhoff, Nevada; Mrs. Margaret N. Fetterhoff, Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Fred S. Bond, Marshalltown; one sister, Mrs. W. J. Beck, Mason City; five granddaughters; and ten great grandchildren.
